Each stone is the result of heat, pressure, and time, creating a lightweight yet durable substrate perfect for structural layering, drainage, and natural aesthetics in terrariums, vivariums, and aquariums.

With its coarse 1/4–1/2 inch size, this grade provides strong drainage and airflow while adding texture and dimension to enclosures. The deep, iron-rich reds and earthy browns bring an authentic volcanic look that complements both desert and tropical setups.
